Referral Process

Referrals are considered through a structured process that includes:

  • Review of referral information and risk assessments
  • Consideration of the child’s emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs
  • Assessment of compatibility with the home environment
  • Discussion with the placing authority and relevant professionals

Admissions are planned carefully wherever possible to promote stability and reduce anxiety for the child. Each placement is subject to regular review to ensure that it remains appropriate and supportive.

 

We work collaboratively with placing authorities, families, and professionals to ensure clarity, transparency, and shared understanding throughout the placement.
